CANDLE IN THE CAVE
A candle doesn’t just illuminate; it changes the atmosphere. It whispers, You are not forgotten....
“You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” Psalm 18:28
Message:
A cave is a place where light feels like a distant memory. The walls are cold, the air is heavy, and every sound seems to echo louder than it should. In life, we sometimes find ourselves in such places where hope feels dim and the future unclear.
But God never promised to flood the entire cave with light. Instead, He places a small, steady candle in our hands according to our faith. That candle is His Word, His presence, His promises, though they won’t always show you the whole path due to your human mind capacity, but it will always give you enough light for the next step.
It’s in these moments that we learn to walk slowly, to listen closely, and to trust deeply. A candle doesn’t just illuminate; it changes the atmosphere. It whispers, You are not forgotten. Keep moving.
Exercise:
Don’t wait for the cave to vanish before you start walking; take the next faithful step with it.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the light You give, no matter how small it seems. Guide me through every shadow and into the open space You’ve prepared for me. Amen.
