Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5
Message:
Some seasons feel like one long night when prayers seem unanswered, healing feels far away, and hope is hard to hold on to. I’ve had nights like that, where I sat awake, staring at the ceiling, wondering if morning would ever come.
The night can be lonely. But the promise of Psalm 30:5 reminds us that morning is certain. It may not come as quickly as we want, but it will come. God has promised joy on the other side.
The long night teaches us to cling to God’s faithfulness even when we cannot see it. It shapes our hope, our trust, and our character. The night won’t last forever, and when the morning comes, it will be sweeter for the waiting.
If you’re in a long night right now, let this be your hope: morning is on its way. You may not see the first light yet, but it’s coming, and joy is coming with it.
The night may be long, but morning always comes.
Exercise:
Tonight, before bed, whisper, “Morning is coming.” Let that simple act turn your waiting into worship.
Prayer:
God, be my comfort in the long night. Hold me when I feel weary and remind me that Your joy is on the horizon. Amen.
