Gathering the Pieces
God does not waste broken pieces; He uses them to create beauty.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Message:
I remember praying, “Lord, what am I supposed to do with all of this?”
It’s comforting to know that we serve a God who is not intimidated by pieces. He is a master restorer. Like a skilled artist, He gathers what we’ve lost, what’s been shattered, and what we thought was useless, and He weaves them into something beautiful.
Sometimes we try to force things back together ourselves, but it’s rarely about recreating the past. It’s about allowing God to make something new. Wholeness is rarely a perfect return to what was; it’s the creation of something better, something stronger, something that carries His fingerprints.
If you feel like your life is in pieces, remember this: God is gathering them even now. You may not see the full picture yet, but nothing is wasted in His hands. God does not waste broken pieces; He uses them to create beauty.
Exercise:
Write it down: “Nothing is wasted.” Keep it as a reminder that God is still working.
Prayer:
Lord, here are my pieces. I give You the broken parts of my story. Make something beautiful out of what feels beyond repair. Amen.
