Message:
But God’s promises don’t become uncertain because circumstances change. His Word doesn’t lose its power because the timeline is different from what you expected. Abraham received a promise, but he had to wait. The waiting did not mean God had forgotten them. And perhaps, like Abraham, you are learning that faith is not only believing God for what He promised; it is trusting Him while you wait for it. “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23
The foundation of our hope: He who promised is faithful. And that is enough to keep you standing. So today, don’t measure God’s faithfulness by the speed of your circumstances. And when you cannot see the promise, hold on to the Promiser. Because your confidence is not ultimately in what God will give you. Your confidence is in who God is.
Midweek Challenge:
Write down one promise you’re believing God for.
Underneath it, write: “I will trust God with the process, the timing, and the outcome.” Let your prayer become a place where you surrender your fear and renew your trust.
Prayer:
Faithful Father, thank You that Your promises are sure. Give me grace to trust Your timing and courage to keep moving forward as I choose to stand on Your unfailing promises today.
