Dear lovelies,
I was having my quiet moment with Abba, and something dropped on my mind during our conversation (don’t roll your eyes😂 I have always emphasised how prayer is a two-way communication between you and God.) Like sharing your personal day, plans, your hurts, your wins, and it’s a place you feel comforted without guilt.
Then I realise that we don’t know how broken our walls are until we stop to breathe. Perhaps you've experienced the feeling that life happens, pain happens, and somewhere along the way, what was once whole becomes cracked. Our boundaries, our trust, our joy, and even our faith can feel like they are in ruins.
But the story of Nehemiah reminds me that God is a rebuilder. The walls of Jerusalem were torn down for years, yet in 52 days they were rebuilt when the people put their hearts into the work. That’s what restoration looks like.
God is stirring you as you are reading this piece to care again, to hope again, to put stone on top of stone, set your heart to work.
This letter is for you if you are standing among ruins. Your rebuilding will not be overnight, but it will be sure.
Trust that God is near and active, laying each stone with care. And just like the people of Jerusalem celebrated when the wall was complete, you too will rejoice again.
Take heart, my lovely. The Builder is on your side.
With love,
Temi Olu

Thy lord will continue strengthening you in his wisdom. Amen
